Even recently launched, giservices.eu is the result of the association between a very experienced set of professionals coming from Public Administrations, Academia as well as private companies, and with their backgrounds being related to informatics, geography, territorial planning and building engineering fields.

Our experience in GI related works comes from as far in time as 1990.

Since then, our personnel has been involved in very different projects and are currently full members of organizations such as the Spanish SDI (IDEE ) and EIEL (Enquiry on Local Infrastructures and Services) Working Groups, between other.

Our knowledge of what are the needs of Public Administrations and companies regarding the use of digital geographic information (GI) is thus both intense and extense.

In the other hand, our bet for Libre Software and its developing paradigms (namely collaborative developing), makes us to be a very flexible organization, ready to develop projects in close cooperation with other companies or organizations.

Finally, our network of related professionals and organizations all around Europe makes us to be ready to afford any project at any of the EU Member States or, if necessary, even outside Europe.
